Regarding the comment about not responding on loose leaf paper, it's actually quite common for AP teachers to assign old exam questions as practice to students. I can't think of an AP class I was in where it didn't happen.

I've taken this course. You don't respond to the exam on loose-leaf and you don't get comments on it because you don't get the essay back. Hmm....
