To the "Nerd" clearing up the hydrocarbon mislabeling, anybody who even took Organic Chem (we're not all nerds) knows that. Remember kids, just because you are smart and kick ass at chemistry, does not make you a nerd.

Even if an alcohol is a hydrocarbon it tends to be taught that a hydrocarbon is an organic molecule solely comprised of Carbon and Hydrogen. An alcohol is a functional group -OH that is often attached to a hydrocarbon. Sorry I'm a nerd.
