he was supposed to multiply the x^3. The way he was solving it he should've come out with x^5+x^46x^3. working the other way, factor x^3...x^3(x^2+x6)...x^3(x+3)(x2). :P

The roots for the given function is: x = 0, x = 1, x = 1/2 + sqrt(3)*i and its conjugate x = 1/2  sqrt(3)*i. It's not seven grade math as one comment mentioned.

Expand to x^5  x^2 , then solve for x. If you aren't allowed to use graphing programs, advanced calculators or mathcad, you're bumfucked.
