No u all wrong this is a physics test, in which you all fail. Virtual here just means that the eye imagine the image and its not really there. Sometimes the lens can make an real image that will be seen on a screen if you put it where the image is.

Virtual realities aren't really existent... There is only ever reality or virtuality i.e. If you are playing a virtual reality game you are in a real existence playing something that is in a virtual existence however the two remain seperate...

FYI: in the phrase virtual reality, virtual is not used as an address to a state of existance, but rather as an adjective that denotes the existance is "practically" a reality. in short: virtual = almost = nearly = practically the more you know.
