This commentary will probably have more thumbs up than british ones.
-
My bead spread, and his bed spread... Must be two totally different things
-
BED SHIT
-
I can't even answer those questions & I'm British!
-
oh dear lord, this is what america really thinks of us brits
-
This person must've failed their exams... badly
-
No one noticed "Bed Shit" ...
-
I like how people are all "omg wtf is this stereotypes oh noes!!1!" but on the previous funny exam everyone was all "haw haw American are fat".
-
what class is this?!
-
I'm British and we call most of those the same thing! Restroom - Loo/toilets & Blender - blender & Balcony - balcony & bedspread - wtf is that?! & Baking pan - pan & To broil - again, wtf is that?! & Busy - busy & appetizer - appetiser/starter
-
What is up with the "filter" on this web site. c.o.c.k is not a swear word, though in this context it's dubious. Prude.
-

Actually, the British equivalent to appetizer is... appetiser/starter. Spelling matters ;). I typically hear restrooms referred to more as the loo than anything by my Brit friends. Baking pans = tins, rather than pan, depending on the person. Honestly, English and American English have a prime commonality(and let's face it, with American English being slaughtered these days, there are fewer commonalities these days) - a lot of the terms change depending on where in the respective country you live. E.g. - Soda vs Pop in the various parts of the US(and hell in some portions of the country, any cola is referred to as a Coke). Regardless; that's a failed student for sure. Stereotypes do not an A grade make. Students like him/her make me wish it were constitutionally legal to murder an idiot for the pure and simple fact they're becoming a waste of oxygen. Side note - ironic: Tea with jam for my captcha.

I guess that´s from an EFL class regarding BE and AE differences
-
I didn't know I was laying on a bed shit!
-
one more thing, im a british chef... to broil is the same worldwide, it is a cooking term that is a standard thing, similar to how physisists have standard notation, the actual definition of broiling something is cooking something with any form of intense heat, and in the cases of meat, fish and poultry it is cooked in its own juices, so not just grill it can mean roast, grill, bake or fry depending on what a recipie states and what ingredients you are cooking... supprisingly it seems that it is only in america i have heard people saying that broiling is grilling..... and broiled bread.... look mate its called fucking toast, its simple
-
do they have that for black people too?
-
cock cock cock
-
In order; toilet/loo, blender, balcony, sheet, baking tray, grill, busy, starter. I do have to say though, saying that you have to use the 'comfort room' sounds nicer than saying that you have to use the 'toilet/loo'!
-
Ha! bed****!
-
lol bed ****
-
WTF a baking pan, do you mean a cookie sheet?
-
WTF- we say busy as well !
-
I'd rather say this is a test in a german school, I am from Canada but I've been living in Germany for 14 years and our teacher actually planned multiple tests like this, and hence the fact that tests like this consist out of a whole lot of false information I told the teacher that I felt offended and that I think that the test is basically a compilation of stereotypical thoughts about different english accents and dialects. Well: It kind of worked, he canceled the test.
-
Mostly the same in Brit-speak. Unless "balcony" means the type of brassier. As Pam Ayres said - I tried one of those push-up bras once, but when I leaned forwards the goods, so to speak, fell of the shelf.
-
To broil = hard C0CK hahahah
-
"oh dear lord, this is what america really thinks of us brits" Not really, this student is a victim of our public schools "dumbing down" policy.
-
I'm pretty sure this person is a Filipino because no one else really calls a restroom, a comfort room, or a bedspread, a bed shit (bed sheet... LOL) like Filipinos do. It's what my mom says and she's a Filipina. No offense.
-
Broil?
-
OMG people he said BED SH!T .. who cares what side of the pond your on
-
Im British and i dont think i have ever called a bed spread a bed ****?
-
am I the only one who noticed "bed****"?
