There was a question in a Year 2 Calc paper I did a couple of years ago where I knew what the answer was but for the life of me couldn't remember how to get it. I forgot to change the equation into radians, so the answer kept getting all convoluted and messy. In the end I started the answer, wrote, "then something magical happens and the answer is pi/4" I passed the paper, though have no idea if I was given marks for that particular question.
