My boyfriend is a HS teacher and has writing pretty similar to this. Teachers leanr how to teach in college. Penmanship classes aren't a requirment for graduation.

Fake schmake; penmanship is in the toilet now that everyone can type stuff. I've seen teachers who wrote worse than my doctor.

My, college, English teacher has terrible handwriting. It took three of us to decipher what he had written, and we were still slightly off.

trust me, some teachers do have bad handwriting. i have to ask my chemistry teacher to translate everything he scrawls, sorry, writes. as for the sealing with wax thing? a little weird.
