A whale is fine too.
-
Fear the mathmatical whale!
-
in that problem, the correct answer is a curved line, in this case the curvature of the whale's "belly" is the correct answer. the only thing the student did was decorate his/her answer with whale parts
-
At least in Finland a red check means the answer is wrong.
-
Actually, the second answer is correct. {+-1, +-2, +-5, +-2/5} So the check next to the whale means correct as well. Teacher must have noticed the bottom line of it.
-
WHALES ARE AWESOME HAHAHAHAHA
-
awesome teacher
-
Wow! Because a whal just totally relates to math! XDD
-
Well,if a thermonuclear device can turn into a whale in search of the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything...
-
That's a tick not a check.
-
I just did this because I didn't know what to do with it. Wish me luck.
-
I had a math teacher who marked wrong answers with checks, that's probably what happened here. Still funny though, lol
-
Hry, it's Tristan!
-
Happy whales give you points in a math exam? Holy shit, I'm so going to try this.
-
was that seriously marked right?
-
Haha! That's cute.
-
Original Creator's note: The check meant it was correct. The reason he gave it to me was because we hadn't covered the material in class yet, everyone got that question correct.
-
bla bla bla (-3,3) for f(x) = 2x^5 - 13x^3 + 2x - 5 = a WHALE. how d freaking hell is dis correct?
-
My boyfriend drew this whale, and it is definitely real.
-
Um....well that's okay..
-
JIMMY HORNER
-
this is freakin epic!
-
To answer "how is nobody accusing this of being fake?": 1. It's probably real. He put down the correct answer, he just decorated it a bit. 2. BECAUSE WE HAVE LIVES!
-
Screw this. I haven't noticed the captcha.
-
Wat a sxc whale!
-
whales are the mathematical transition that makes the world go round
-
So Is "A Whale" The Correct Answer For Everything?
-
Guys, the answer is right. Look at the curve of the whales body (on the bottom), solve the equation and its the same line.
-
I get why this is right! The original question was: Show that all the zeros lie between [-3, 3] for... Or draw a whale.
-
At least he didn't write 'suck my dick fag.' Might not have got a check mark for that one.
-
how the fuck is that correct ?? SOMONE TELL ME :P
-
I think a check means it's wrong haha
-
How is nobody accusing this of being a fake?
-
Astronomically Epic Win
-
THE WHALE KNOWS ALL!
-
With the claSSeS i'm taking next year, I'm going to need to know how to draw whaleS very well....
-
If the question was not what the teacher wanted or something like that sometimes teachers will say "omit question 14. Everyone gets points for it, my mistake." That would be a good time to practice your whale drawing skills?
-
Eh, he still got full credit
-
I dunno... why is a checkmark being marked as incorrect? (Yes, it is incorrect... there's another check on the below problem.) (another note: the CAPTCHA reads "number regrets". weird!)
-
Must've been fake, yet it's epic~!!!
-
Ultimate Fail: When you're not even close to being even sort-of correct.
-
A whale! lol! I wish my teacher thought whales are as funny as i do!
-
When in doubt, draw a whale!
-
CORRECT! We would have also accepted a seal, dolphin, or actually just about any marine mammal
-
Lol it reminds me of my math teacher last year, I would put random answers and still get full points
-
Apparently a whale is correct as well
-
I cannot draw a whale better myself.
-
You guys know that a check means wrong in iceladn right?
-
The check most likely means it's wrong, the one below it recieved a check and that answer is wrong. It should be +/- 1, +/- 5, +/- 1/2, +/- 5/2
-
Failwhale :D
-
It occurred to no one that the picture cuts out the answer line on the right side...
-
A whale is not fine It's good
-
i like how she gave him the question anyway.
-
Well, actualy a graph for f(x)=2x^5-13x^3+2x-5 would look like this http://lmgtfy.com/?q=f(x)%3D2x%5E5-13x%5E3%2B2x-5
-
teacher is probably japanise
-
ofcourse it's right the mathematical whale knows all
-
its so obvious how he did that if it was an actual exam he put the answer got it right after exam erased answer and then drewa whale DUH
-
I think this question is a reference from Moby Dick. The teacher recognised the pupils understanding of Quiqueg's opinions on the mathematical equation. Thus being expressed through the whale, the teacher was lulled into a feeling of great pride on the pupil, that they realised the true nature of the zero's between -3 and 3. And I for one am laughing so much I've sprayed watery diahorria everywhere.
-
Haha
-
1 is not a root of f(x)
-
This guy is smart. He predicted the fail whale well before its existence
-
FAIL WHALE. Well played, student.
-
I think if i become a teacher I will count stuff like this correct.Any smartass answer thats good enough to make me laugh deserves an A.
-
That is a Beautifully drawn whale...A+!
-
I LOVE this.
-
Best whale I have ever seen. 10/10 in my book.
-
Pi/3.14 = Whale! WHY DIDNT I THINK OF THIS BEFORE!
-
A whale is a healthy substitute.
-
the below problem may not have a checkmark.
-
Fail Whale, lol.
-
that SO happened in mathmagic land!!! if you go to KSMS and had mrs. chung you will understand.... =D
A whale is fine too.
